I never met Charlie or spoke to him online as far as i can remember , but i must say, at the time , i really enjoyed Fahrenheit Fair Enough it was a welcome relief of melodic electronic music at a time where everyone was trying to make IDM , i felt a kinship with the music in that album , and am very thankful for it being made , so ill say respect and r.i.p charlie.

Seriously. Wasn’t he the nicest guy in the entire Chicago scene? I have many fond memories of chatting with homebody about synths and pre-amps and softwares. Also he called me “playboy,” which I got a kick out of.

I am shocked and saddened and will miss Charlie and his awesome shoes.

Well said, Liz. Somehow, weirdly, Telefon Tel Aviv got by me until just recently. I’m so glad I’ve caught on, though, and love what I’m hearing in Immolate Yourself.
