VILLA PARK, IL– MacSpecialist, Chicagoland’s largest Authorized Apple Reseller, Service Provider and Training Center, and Apple, Inc. are  hosting “Your Business on a Mac: Marketing Solutions for SMB.” On Wednesday, September 30, 2009, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, MacSpecialist will be hosting a series of presentations by Duct Tape Marketing, an expert in marketing for small-medium businesses in a trying economy. There will also be a series of speakers providing tools and solutions to help small-medium business owners and operators develop and deliver their marketing message. This event is completely free to the public, unlike others of it kind.

Duct Tape Marketing instructs to simple, effective and affordable small-medium business marketing using a “Seven Step Approach” to implementing a marketing system for your business. Jeff Bishop, an experienced marketing coach with Duct Tape Marketing, brings over 25 years in sales and marketing, with a special emphasis on how businesses create differentiation, package their products and services, and achieve their marketing plans.

Duct Tape Marketing will be presenting throughout the day. Between sessions by Jeff Bishop, vendors will present various tools that can be used to help create and deliver marketing information. These vendors include: Andrew Finley, Systems Engineer with Apple, Inc., presenting advanced collaborative tools in Mac OS X Server; Tom Jones, digital signage specialist with Ingram Micro, presenting digital signage solutions; and Chris Sanchez, feld technician with MacSpecialist, offering tutorials on simple content creation and delivery within iLife, iWork, and MobileMe. The day will conclude with an open networking event to be held at Weber Grill Restaurant (2331 Fountain Square Drive, Lombard, IL 60148).
